Party Banner Made with Recycled Jeans

By Susan

When I saw this wonderful banner at Pottery Barn online, I knew I wanted to make one for my porch. The red, white and blue color scheme would be great any time of year but especially for patriotic holidays like Flag Day, Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day or the 4th of July.

Using scrap fabric for the striped flags and fabric from old jeans that were too small and out of style, I made my own festive version of the PB banner. It was really easy and a lot of fun!

I shared a detailed tutorial at Between Naps on the Porch outlining all the steps to make this patriotic banner. You’ll find that tutorial here: Make a Party Banner: Pottery Barn Inspired.
