Denim storage baskets are one of the most popular items crafted with repurposed jeans. Today’s featured denim project will be the third I’ve featured where old jeans have been turned into adorable baskets perfect for storing almost anything, including sewing and craft supplies.
Karin who blogs at Pysselbolaget loves to recycle and when she found herself with a pile or torn jeans, she knew just what she wanted to do with them. These darling baskets require just a little hand sewing, so if you don’t know like to sew with a sewing machine, you can easily make these.
I love the one shown below with the pompom trim! The trim just adds so much to the finished basket. The flower one is beyond cute, too! Love them all!

I see so many baskets when I’m out thrifting and leave them behind for lack of a plan for them. This is a cute and practical idea.
I love these, too Sandra…would love to make some! Wish I had save all my son’s old jeans now when he was growing up. They would have been perfect! 🙂
