Denim Camera Bag Made from Recycled Jeans

By Susan

Today’s recycled denim project may be one of the most clever and unique projects I’ve featured here at Denim Do Over. Using scrap denim from a pair of jeans that were made into cutoffs and batik fabric left over from a summer dress, Lenore created a fabulous camera bag. I just think it beyond cool when you can take scrap fabric for which the cost is zero dollars and create something beautiful and/or useful.

Lenore’s bag was designed to hold a Canon S2IS but the pattern can easily be adapted for similar size/shaped cameras. Her tutorial includes detailed directions for making this camera bag as well as a downloadable pattern. Excellent!
