Kid outgrow their clothes so fast, including their jeans. Since they outgrow them so quickly, often they are still in great shape when they can no longer be worn.
When Jade’s, from the blog, Jaderbomb, son outgrew his jeans, Jade couldn’t bear to just toss them out. She knew she could do something fun with them and make them into something useful. She came up with a great idea–why not make them into a blue jean purse.
Isn’t this just the cutest!
If you’re new to sewing, you can tackle this easy project. Jade mentions in her post that she had only been sewing a year when she made this bag. She also gives some helpful tips for the budding seamstress.
I love the addition of a gold belt for a little extra bling.
In her tutorial, Jade explains exactly how she made her blue jean bag, including how she attached the leather shoulder strap, another recycled item in this creative project.
