Earlier today I featured a denim apron made by Kristin who blogs at Kleas here at Denim Do Over. I’m sharing a second apron this afternoon because it’s a denim apron project that was inspired by Kristin’s apron.
Michelle who blogs at Life Made Creations had an old pair of jeans with major tears in the knees. Instead of just tossing them out, she decided to turn them into something beautiful and useful. Before Michelle made her apron, she did a bit of research and came across Kristin’s cute apron with floral accents. Michelle said, “I stumbled upon this adorable little waist apron. (shown below) It’s made from an old pair of jeans–seriously! I had to make one, like right now.”
Here’s how Michelle’s apron turned out, completely different and every bit as fabulous! Isn’t it wonderful when we can be inspired by our fellow bloggers! The talent in Blogland is absolutely amazing!
Michelle followed Kristin’s lead and added cute flowers to the bottom corner of a pocket on her apron. Love that little detail! Look how perfectly the flowers coordinate with the fabric Michelle chose for the ruffled bottom of her apron!
