The minute I saw it, I fell in love with the sweet apron Kim made for her daughter using repurposed jean fabric. Kim, the publisher behind the blog, Mommy Knows, wrote a humorous tutorial sharing how she made this apron for her daughter, Georgia. It may or may not have involved Valium. 😉 Haven’t we all been there, knee-deep in a project that at first seemed so simple, but somewhere along the way, did its best to veer off the tracks.
As you can see, the apron turned out absolutely adorable–and no Valium was needed!
Kim recycled not only an old pair of jeans for this denim project, she also used a dress that was no longer being worn to create the waistband and heart accent. I never realized how many cute things could be made by recycling old clothing. It’s enough to make you want to hold onto all your old clothes!
