Always looking for that remote control? Wish you had a place to stash away your knitting or sewing project? Kat who blogs at Just Crafty Enough, found a great solution for storing and keeping up with the craft and sewing supplies she normally works on in her family room. Using a pair of jeans that weren’t suitable for donating due to a big hole, she created a great storage bag that neatly fits over the arm of her sofa.
The bag is double-sided so there’s storage on both sides!
Regarding her recycled denim project, Kat said, “An old pair of jeans makes this a really easy project because it already has pockets build right in. So, all it takes to make this is a few cuts and a few straight seams.”
Those pockets on jeans sure do come in handy when repurposing jeans into something new!
You’ll find a step-by-step tutorial for creating this clever Armrest Project Bag at Kat’s blog here: Craft a Denim Armrest Project Bag From a Pair of Repurposed Jeans
Pretty nifty!
Yup…I might finally be able to keep up with my remotes. 🙂
