Cate’s hubby wears jeans every day to work. When they are no longer suitable for wearing, she recycles them, including the pockets, for other projects.
A while back, one of Cate’s co-works came up with a fab denim project that reuses old pockets from denim jeans. Cate loved the idea and created her own version to solve a storage problem she had in her mudroom.
This is such a clever way to reuse the pockets from old jeans. Turn them into handy storage pockets! This is a great way to use up those fat quarters, too.
You’ll find Cate’s tutorial showing how to make this Hanging Denim Pocket Organizer, including a diagram explaining how to center the pocket on each square, at Cloth, Paper Scissors here: Make a Denim Pocket Organizer from Repurposed Jeans
