If you have some old jeans lying around, then you’ve got just whatcha need to make a fun game for the kiddos to play this summer. You may even catch the grown-ups getting in on the fun because this blue jean craft is pretty fabulous!
Chica who blogs at Chica and Jo made these clever denim bean bags for a Bean Bag Toss game for an upcoming 4th of July party she was throwing. This recycled denim project involves almost no sewing. The tiny bit it does require could be done with a strong fabric glue like Fabri-Tac, making this another denim project we can file away in the No-Sew category here at Denim Do Over.
In addition to the bean bags, Chica made numbered targets for the Bean Bag Toss game. Is this not brilliant? What a great game to get the kids out in the sunshine for some outdoor fun this spring and summer.
Chica has written a wonderful tutorial with lots of detailed pictures showing just how she made the bean bags using jean pockets from old jeans. Her tutorial also included instructions for making those awesome numbered targets, too. You’ll find Chica’s tutorial here: Make a Denim Bean Bag Toss Game From Recycled Jean Pockets
That was looking fantastic! Jean pocket bean bags are truly amazing. And it makes a great fun on playing with kids.
