I’ve been hoarding a few patriotic denim projects to share with you for months now and I can’t wait any longer! With the 4th of July a little more than a month a way, I’m eager to start sharing some of these so you can make them in time for the big day. I probably should have shared them sooner, in time for Memorial Day but at least you’ll have them in time for Memorial Day next year.
Jaime shared a fabulous tutorial at Pretty Handy Girl for making an adorable denim patriotic bunting made from a pair of old jeans that had over the years, shrunk in the dryer. I have a few of those myself…bet you do, too!
This adorable bunting would also be cute for any kind of western themed party or event you may plan. The red check is such a great compliment to the repurposed denim fabric.
You’ll find a wonderful tutorial with lots of great pictures at the blog, Pretty Handy Girl here: Make Patriotic Bunting for the 4th of July Using Recycled Denim Jeans
Here’s another cute patriotic banner for celebrating the 4th of July! This one’s a Pottery Barn knock off! (Click the photo to access the tutorial.)
