Several months ago I cleared out all of the clothes I was no longer wearing. In the process I created a “donate” pile and a “keep-for-possible-crafts” pile. These three pairs of jeans landed in the possible-crafts pile. They weren’t really worthy of being donated because they were pretty badly worn and very much out of style.
I’ve had so much fun playing with them! So far they have been used to make denim flatware holders for a 4th of July table setting…
…and the denim fabric worked beautifully in the creation of this party banner for an Independence Day celebration.
But what could I do with all those waist bands?
Ummm…got it! How about denim napkin rings! I love how they turned out and they were soooo easy to make! These napkin rings would be great in any casual sitting.
You’ll find a detailed tutorial showing exactly how to make these denim napkin rings at Between Naps on the Porch.
