Flatware Holders Made from Repurposed Jeans

By Susan

A few months ago I decided to go through my closet and  clear out some of the clothes I never wear. I came across three pairs of jeans that were too small and definitely no longer “in style.” I love denim fabric so the wheels started turning. I wondered if I could make something useful with those three pairs of jeans.

The 4th of July was coming up and I was in the midst of putting together a table setting in celebration of the holiday. (Table Setting can be viewed here: Dining on the Porch for the 4th of July

The pockets worked great as holders for the blue flatware in my patriotic tablescape.

Creating these denim flatware holders was super easy! You’ll find a full tutorial showing all the details at Between Naps on the Porch.
