Recently, I shared a chair makeover by Agy who blogs at Green Issues by Agy. That wasn’t the only denim project she has taken on. Using denim from her hubby’s jeans, Agy took an old belt that was headed for the trash heap and recycled it into a whole new design.
In her detailed tutorial Agy says, “It’s an easy project. I think this could work with any type of old material.” Agy made her belt using lots of vintage buttons and beads and it turned really pretty! The back is just as cute as the front, too.
You’ll find Agy’s tutorial, including additional pictures of this belt here: Make a Denin Belt from Old Jeans
Have an old belt you were thinking of tossing? Keep it and give it new life with denim!
Would love to have that tiny waistline to go with the belt, LOL!!!
Ha! Me, too!
