Have you ever been in the car with little ones in the back seat and wish there was a way you could pass them a tissue? Agy, who blogs at Green Issues by Agy, ran into this problem recently while riding in a friend’s car. The wheels started turning and she came up with a great solution.
Using denim fabric from a pair of her hubby’s old jeans that he was no longer wearing…
Agy created a tissue holder that can hang from the back of a car seat. Actually, you could hang it from almost any place where you feel it would be convenient to have tissues available and at the ready when needed.
I love how she finished the edges with a pretty, decorative fabric.
Agy has created an excellent tutorial for making this clever tissue holder. You’ll find her tutorial here: Make a Tissue Holder from Old Jeans
I tend to stuff mini tissue packs in the holders behind the seats along with straws, gloves and other things that need their own place. Making this holder would be a great place to start organizing the car. I guess I should be ashamed to admit that my car is in need of organization.
