Craft a Denim Wreath with Seams from Jeans

By Susan

I’ve featured several denim wreaths here at Denim Do Over. The one I’m featuring today is quite different from the others. Instead of being made with denim or jean fabric, it’s made from the seams of old jeans.

Cyndee from the blog, Restyled Junk, saves all her left over fabric scrapes from her sewing projects, no matter how small.  Cyndee said, “I hate to throw away even the tiniest scrap, just in case there may be a use for it.” That philosophy paid off when she decided to make her denim wreath using nothing but the seams from old jeans.

I love how the different colors of the denim seams gave the wreath a unique striped looked all the way around.

The flower rosettes, also made from the seams of jeans, are the perfect finishing touch on this cute wreath!

So when you’re saving those old jeans to turn them into something awesome later on, save the seams, too! You never know how they may come in handy later for another denim project.

You’ll find Cyndee’s tutorial for making her denim wreath at her blog Restyled Junk here: Craft a Denim Wreath with Recycled Seams from Old Jeans
