Just when I think I’ve seen jeans recycled to make everything there is to make, I come across another amazing denim project that blows me away. Michelle who blogs at the blog, Mich L. in LA created the cutest No-Sew lampshades, using the legs from a pair of old work jeans that were past their prime.
Are these not the cutest?
This denim design will also dress up those old shades on your chandelier. As Michelle mentions in her tutorial, these shades would look great in any home with a rustic, farmhouse or shabby chic design.
Michelle shared her tutorial for making these at the blog, Michele Made Me and you’ll find instructions to make your own denim lampshades here: Denim Lampshades for a Chandelier or Sconce Made from Repurposed Jeans
Pssst: You’ll find one of Michele’s (from the blog Michele Made Me) fabulous denim projects for the home here: Make a Denim Pouf
I find so many projects here that I proclaim as the most creative thing I’ve seen. Add this one to the list!
Thanks, Sandra! I’m continually amazed each day by all the denim projects folks create! 🙂
