Brenda had a favorite pair of jeans, do you remember Zena jeans? When her Zena jeans wore out, she couldn’t bear to part with them. Have you ever felt that way about a favorite piece of clothing like a shirt or sweater, I definitely have!
Instead of tossing them out, Brenda came up with a fabulous idea, a way to keep her fave pair of jeans around and still be able to enjoy them. In her words, she “reinvented” them. Love that! Brenda created the cutest ruffled denim apron.
I love the little extra touches she included, a flower on one pocket, a hint of lace on the other.
You’ll find Brenda’s tutorial for making this cute ruffled apron at her blog, Dragonflys and Stars here: Make a Denim Apron from Your Favorite Pair of Old Jeans
Pssst: You’ll find several more denim apron tutorials, all made from recycled jeans, under the Fashion category at the top of the blog, or click here: Recycle Jeans Into Denim Clothing/Fashions
I love this idea! That is so cute, my daughters, approaching the teen years, would love these! In fact, what a great sleepover activity this would make for girls who like baking.
Dawn, that sounds like such a fun idea!
