Have you ever had a dream that led to a project or craft idea? Kristin, who blogs at Kleas, loves crafting so much, she actually dreams about it. Now that’s a true crafter! One night she dreamt about making an apron from old jeans and when she awoke, that’s exactly what she did!
Kristin decided to make her denim apron a “No-Sew” project so this would be an easy project for anyone, not just those crafters who have a sewing machine.
I love the sweet flower detail Kristin added to one corner of her apron. She hand-stitched on the flowers but they could easily be added with a good, washable fabric glue. Kristin added a ribbon belt for a little extra styling, though it wasn’t needed to actually fasten her apron. She explains all about that in her detailed tutorial.
I’ve featured a number of denim aprons here at Denim Do Over but this is the first one I’ve shared that was made from white jeans. No matter the color of the denim, it can be recycled into something fun and useful.
You’ll find Kristin’s tutorial for making this No-Sew denim apron from recycled jeans here: Make a Denim Apron from Jeans
I love no sew projects!
Me, too! 🙂
