Next to aprons, baby bibs may be one of the most popular items folks like to make from recycled denim. It makes sense when you think about how durable and long-lasting denim is. If our denim jeans can take the abuse of being worn day after day, it can definitely handle anything a baby might dish out. Pun intended. 🙂
Kristena, the blogger behind Thimbly Things by Kristena Derrick, saw THIS tutorial by Linda for making bibs and got to work making her own. Her’s look completely different and they are just as adorable.
These are just sooo cute. Around two weeks ago, I celebrated the birth of my first grandbaby. I am feeling inspired to make some of these darling bibs!
You’ll find Kristena’s tutorial showing just how she created the beautiful bibs shown above here: Make Baby Bibs From Recycled Denim. Wait until you see the reverse side, it’s just as cute as the front!
I really don’t have an idea that jeans can be used a baby bibs. Actually, I’m a little bit surprised in that thing. As baby bibs becoming popular nowadays and people keep talking about it a lot of us tried to have some and share it,too. Anyways, these baby bibs from a jeans will surely inspire many mothers out there maybe they will make one as well. baby bibs that is personal made is a very precious gift among of all.
I think that bibs that are made from linens or jeans are cute, but I also think that it is hard to clean because of its hard fabric. These bibs are way cooler than other handmade baby bibs out there in the market today. But still it is a fabulous idea.
Beverly, very good point. You would definitely want to use well-worn denim that was soft. The good thing is they should wash well since denim usually holds up well to frequent washing.
Yes I think so too Susan.
