Denim Child’s Jacket Made From Recycled Jeans

By Susan

Nancy the talented artist and blogger at 21st Century Dressmakers enjoys recycling old denim into something brand new and beautiful. Inspired by photographs she had seen of antique doll’s clothing, she designed a one-of-a-kind baby or toddler jacket, embellishing it with lace and velvet. It really does have a vintage feel, doesn’t it?

The back is finished with lace and velvet too, as you’ll see in the excellent tutorial she’s written for this sweet jacket.
