When Ali from the blog, SnipSnapHappy finally had to say goodbye to her most favorite pair of jeans, she couldn’t totally part with them. As she said, “There was no way they were to be consigned to the bin, that would have been far too environmentally unsound and those jeans and me have been through far too much together to part company forever.”
Haven’t we all had a favorite pair of pants, dress or a special shirt that we felt that way about? Mine was a pair of floral corduroy pants and I wore them to death until the raised parts of the fabric were almost flat in places.
Ali found a great tutorial/pattern for making a good size purse or bag at the blog Very Purple Person and she turned her fave pair of jeans into the cutest reversible denim bag. I love the fabric she chose for the contrasting side!
