A Denim & Burlap Wreath For Patriotic Holidays

By Susan

Have you ever crafted with denim and burlap? They are awesome together, aren’t they? These strong, tough fabrics especially work well together in wreaths as seen in this fabulous red, white and blue wreath designed by Michele who blogs at The Scrap Shoppe.  This would be so wonderful hanging on the door this time of year for the 4th of July holiday. Actually, it would look great on the door any time of year!

Notice the “button” stars…love those! I also love the fullness of the wreath…just a great design all the way around!

Make a Denim & Burlap Wreath

Michele has written a beautiful tutorial including lots of great pictures sharing how she made her denim and burlap wreath. You’ll find her tutorial here: Make a Denim & Burlap Wreath For the 4th of July

Pssst: I’m adding this tutorial to the “no-sew” category since the only sewing is a little hand stitching to create the gathered ruffles.
