Denim Apron Made From Recycled Jeans

By Susan

Denim aprons are definitely one of the more popular projects made from old jeans. I just took a count and I’ve featured 14 different recycled denim aprons here at Denim Do Over! This will be the 15th!

Today’s apron project was a make-it-up-as-you-go project for Heather who blogs at Inventive Denim. She dubbed this project the “All-Leg Denim Apron” because to make it, you only need the leg from a pair of jeans to make it! Of course, a pocket comes in handy, too.

I especially love how Heather finished the edges off so nicely. That makes such a difference in the final look of a project like this.

Heather has posted a great tutorial along with photos sharing just how she made her denim apron from a pair of old jeans. You’ll find her tutorial at her blog here: Make a Denim Apron From Recycled Jeans
