Chevron Denim Pillow Made From Recycled Jeans

By Susan

Have you ever noticed how great recycled denim projects look when they include different colors of denim? Those are some of my faves when it comes to turning denim into something new and useful.

Marji Roy who blogs at Ashbee Design has been saving jeans for some time and I was blown away by the beautiful Chevron pillow she made using small amounts of denim from various pairs/colors of jeans. Isn’t it amazing?! I love the all the different colors of denim! Can you imagine what this pillow would cost if you purchased it in a store.

Marji Roy created a very detailed tutorial sharing how she made her pillow with all her recycled denim. You’ll find her tutorial here: Make a Chevron Pillow From Recycled Denim Jeans

Here’s another great recycled denim project you can make using different colors of recycled denim fabric: Toile-Lined Tote Bag  These type projects are perfect for when you only have a small amount of each color/style of denim fabric.
